The first lesson is assessment led where we will identify strengths and weaknesses and provide a list of progress points that we will work though in the subsequent lessons so that your child is gaining skills and confidence quickly. The assessment document will be sent to you within five working days. All subsequent lessons will be at the same time each week and we will grant you access to the student portal where you’ll be able to read the notes from each lesson and to see whether any homework has been set.

May I sit in on the lesson with my child?

Due to safeguarding and lessons underway we politely ask you to wait outside the classroom for the tutor who would welcome a few minutes of your time ahead of the first lesson.

We understand for the first time there may be a few nerves however this is completely natural. If you wish to stay your most welcome to wait on our comfy sofa located outside the classroom. If you’re planning to stay locally, we highly recommend coffee from 15 Grams located at 30 Tranquil Vale or a sweet treat from Gail’s, 3 Blackheath Village.

Will I receive feedback on my child progress?
