A Year’s Snail Mail Membership

A new adventure through the letterbox every quarter.

Snail Mail is a collectible postal learning series for curious children: part lesson, part story and part invitation to make something extraordinary.

Every three months for the next year, members receive a completely new illustrated learning experience through the post. Each edition begins with one fascinating idea before travelling across traditional subject boundaries, uncovering the unexpected connections between art, mathematics, history, literature and science.

There are things to read, questions to puzzle over and something wonderful to make; all without an app, login or screen in sight.

Every edition is different, but your envelope will include a full lesson plan and everything you need to complete it as well as access to further extension activities through our Snail Mail Substack section.

Snail Mail is intellectually ambitious without feeling like schoolwork: rigorous, whimsical and designed to be explored at the child’s own pace.

Your next edition

Our next Snail Mail is The Impossible Pigeon Code: a mysterious new learning adventure involving secret messages, curious pigeons and a code that should not be possible to crack.

Further details will remain concealed until the envelopes begin arriving. Surprise is part of the adventure!

How membership works

• Membership costs £40 for the nesxt year, including UK postage.
• A new Snail Mail will be dispatched once every quarter on the 15th.
• Orders placed after an edition’s closing date will begin with the following quarterly Snail Mail.
• Snail Mail is designed primarily for children aged approximately 7–11, although younger children may enjoy completing it with an adult and older children can extend the challenges independently.

Every Snail Mail begins as a lesson in the TAG classroom, where it is tested, refined and enjoyed by real children before being transformed into a collectible postal adventure.
